1.

Take Your puppy to your veterinarian within 10 days of adoption. Make sure to take a stool sample! Don't worry if the stool is a little loose, a change of water or environment can cause this.

2.

We supply you with one bag of food, make sure this is what your vet wants your puppy to be on. Consistency is key, our puppies are fed at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day.

3.

Water should always be left out for your puppy. They can get dehydrated fast.

4.

Make sure you have the right size crate for your puppy. This will help with crate training.

5.

Your puppy is teething, making sure lots of chew toys are available will help soothe your puppy's pain. Make sure the get the right pet supplies. Getting toys that are too big or small can be dangerous.

6.

Training is a great way for you and your dog to know who is the boss. For training we suggest: Sandi at Petco in Hanover.

7.

Relax, your puppy can sense your anxiety. Make sure that you and your family are ready for a puppy before adopting. They are a lifelong (but fun) commitment.
